Emergency group offers education for Capital Region veterans
The Troy Record 7/20/2015
One local emergency response group is making the effort to give back to veterans in the community by offering a free educational and career opportunity.
Clifton Park & Halfmoon Emergency Corps. (CPHM EMS) will offer an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course, state certification and professional development at no cost to military veterans.
The organization held two informative open house sessions past week, on Wednesday and Sunday, at its headquarters located at 15 Crossing Blvd. in Clifton Park. These informational meet-and-greet format events gave interested applicants the opportunity to learn more about a career in EMS, meet instructors and complete the application process.
